OPENING RECEPTION: March 12, 2015, 4pm-7pm

Hudson artists Shannon Casey, Michelle Touve-Holland and Katina Pastis Radwanski are featured in Sky to Steel which opens Thursday, March 12 at the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation Gallery located at 10 W. Streetsboro St. (Route 303) in downtown Hudson, Ohio. Meet the artists and enjoy the opening reception 4pm-7pm on Thursday. The gallery is free and open to the public, regular hours are weekdays 9am-4pm.

Sky to Steel features original work by all three professional artists expressing the theme with Touve-Holland’s organic designs transitioning the space from Radwanski’s steel sculpture to Casey’s celestial paintings. This unique collaborative exhibition will be on view through May 13.

Sculptor/painter Katina Pastis Radwanski, when she’s not escaping the winter deep freeze, lives in Hudson. Inspired from an early age to create art, Katina finds that her work grows and changes as a result of viewers’ interpretations, and she welcomes this unique form of communication.  Katina has a studio/gallery at Summit Artspace in Akron, which is open to the public.

Red Twig floral design studio owner Michelle Touve-Holland’s designs are practically architectural constructions, created with the loveliest of building materials.

Hudson artist Shannon Casey finds inspiration in the night sky, mythology, the bible (especially Psalm 19 – The heavens declare the glory of God), and her imagination. She works primarily in oils and uses gold and silver leaf to enhance her paintings.

The Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation Gallery hosts several exhibitions each year, to learn more about the gallery visit http://www.mcmfdn.org.
