Douglas Max Utter

TIMELINES is on view at William Busta Gallery through April 18, 2015.

This select retrospective features a catalog with an essay by Douglas Max Utter, about his work and pivotal paintings he made after his father’s untimely death in 1980. New works on display deal with his childhood, and with the death of his paternal grandfather in a car accident in 1935 — especially its effect on his father, who was 18 at the time and a passenger in the car. The exhibition includes 40 small and very large works of art.
