Legal Issues for Working Artists

The Cleveland Print Room in conjunction with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts presents: The Monkey Selfie and Other Legal Issues for Working Artists. This free one hour forum will feature presentations on business entity and business formation issues for the working artist by Janik LLP’s George Carr; George Geddes will provide an overview of intellectual property issues; and Cleveland Print Room Board Member and Thompson Hine LLP attorney Christopher Joseph Klasa will discuss recent lawsuits involving photographers and photography including the infamous Monkey Selfie controversy. A question and answer session and light refreshments follow the panel discussion.
